Journal Pt.3 & An 'Alternative' canvas!

So todays Journal pages were created for Tracey

And these were the pages she created for me...

As you can see i had no set formula to any of the pages, i just went with the flo for each individual person.

Now this is the canvas i originally started to make for the Simon Says Stamp'n'Show challenge but bottled it as i wasn't sure if i wanted to share it.. but I had a little time to think and decided 'oh bugger it' i'll do it and that will be that.. so here it is...

 As you can see I masked the background using the spiders web and a home made red glimmer mist.

The girl has been hand drawn, than coloured using polychromo pencils and acrylic paint.

Not sure why i was so worried to share this, I guess it's just not my usual type of thing and being a first attempt well i was just being silly i guess!

Keeping it short and sweet today i'm afraid, as the old head still isn't playing nice so i'm trying not to spend too much time on the comp. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day!

Journal Pt1

Hello my friends, Thank you for the kind wishes yesterday, My head is still banging but the vampire aversion to bright light and vice like grip of my head is somewhat better today!!

So while i feel up to it i'm quickly blogging this post.

I hosted my very first Circle Journal swap which started the middle of last year with several of my angel forum friends.

These are the very first pages i created in the first journal i received which belonged to Shazza

 And these are the pages she created in my book.

I love the mix of cute and distressed as i have a personality for both, although my cute side has been suppressed for some time, I'm just having to much fun with the altered stuff.
I'll be back again soon, maybe over the weekend with the next page or two!

One of THOSE days....

In fact one of those weeks..... Is it just me or is time passing faster and faster... one minute its sunday and i'm heading off to work and the next thing i know i've missed wednesday completly and all those messy desks and it's almost the end of thursday!! Whats going on!!!

On my desk yesterday was the same thats there today... not alot to be truthful..

Just the beginnings of a CJ.. I bound up some watercolour paper with my trustie BIA and this will be housed in an old book cover.. as you can see i've made a start on decorating the front and i did have a fabric piece going where that big messy gap is but i changed my mind.. Although i like what i did, it's not what i want for this project!

The other thing that was taking up space were several unfinished necklaces i'd knitted, so i spent a bit of time adding there toggles and danglies and these are just a few of um.

I fear that the rest of this week and prob next week too will also dissapear b4 my very eyes and i'll be ranting again about where the time has gone.. but untill then i'll say TTFN
