Inspired by Finnabair

So as you know I have had very little inspiration of late and even less motivation to try anything, but on Tuesday the very talented Finnabair aka Anna did a live stream for Prima and Oh My Goodness was it good.
I absolutely love her style and composition of work so I grabbed all my supplies and started art'ing along.
I have to say Anna works very quickly and it took me twice as long to make the first tag, mainly because I had to improvise on most of the supplies but I got there eventually.
I haven't gotten around to making the second tag she made but I will.
I did realise one thing... I could definitely do with more Prima goodies...Anyone wanna buy me some lol
Right I best get on, Got some Stampotique subs to make for the DT call.
Thanks for stopping by x

My New Fur Babys

You may have already seen them on twitter or facebook but just in case you haven't here are the newest members of my family
This is Wallace
He's a right chatterbox and the outgoing one.
***
And this is Gromit
He has slight anxiety issues but does like a fuss.
***
Both boys are 14 and were adopted and brought home yesterday from Heavens Gate which is my local  National Animal Welfare Trust
We decided on these 2 as they were the oldest pair at the centre and needed a loving home as they had been at the shelter some time. We kinda fell in love with them b4 we even met them and the people at the centre were a little shocked I think that we said it was them we wanted.
But every kitty deserves to live their life in a loving home I think, I just wish I could of brought them all home.
I hope they will be very happy here and don't be surprised from now on if the odd pic or 2 appears on my blog lol
Thanks for stopping by to see my new family, Oh and if you fancy seeing a bit of art too my latest DT project is up over on the Snazzy's DT blog  x

WOYWW 159

Hay intrepid desk hoppers, Sorry i've been absent the past couple of weeks,
After the anniversary week I sunk into a bit of a depression but i'm slowly bouncing back
I wanted to say a belated thanks to Elizabeth & Bleubeard for my ATC
And also to May & Turie for swapping with me.
I didn't get around to swapping with all who asked, i'm sorry. I did make a few more ATC's
and I do still have to pick a winner of my remaining original atc's. {i've not forgotten}
Hopefully in a couple of weeks time when im feelin better i'll post a swap notice on my blog.
So to my desk.....
Well er it's in a bit of a sorry state i'm afraid, It's not seen much crafty action. Just the odd thing here and there.
The new colours of Tim inks have managed to make it to my desk though i've not yet played with them, sad but true. Right i've waffled enough.
Happy Desk Hopping x

Texture Overload!

This weeks theme over at
Simon Say Stamp'n'Show
is 'Texture'
And boy have I got plenty of that.
Her work is truly AMAZING
So with a little help from a friend {you know who you are} I created this
Now to be fair I had no clue what I was doing and I think if I was to try the technique again {unsupervised} there are a few aspects I would do differently. Ideally what I'd like is for Anna to come to the UK and teach. But as that's not an option right now I shall keep playing and developing, For a first attempt i'm pretty pleased with myself.
So thank you Anna for the amazing inspiration, and thank you to my Sargent major er I mean teacher.
