Coining It In

Here is my effort for this weeks "In My Pocket" Challenge over on Hels blog

The theme is Coins

Just for a change (ha ha... get it... change...coins... sorry) there isn't one bit of stamping on this piece, I just covered the front with paper, typed the lettering out using my new font reel and my label maker, and then added some plastic coins.

Inside....

Because i knew that the space wouldn't of been big enough for what i wanted to do,

i made a pop out by using an extra piece of 6x6 paper, then decorated basically the same as the front.

I used some ribbon to cover the join of the 2 different papers and also to be able to close the pocket, and then just edged the whole thing using a green sharpie marker.

NEW & FABULOUS

Today saw the launch of a brand new Challenge by the lovely Hel's.

it's called

"IN MY POCKET"

The concept is to make a pocket (instructions on her blog) and the theme each week is to be hidden under the flap of the pocket.

This weeks theme is BUTTONS

It's a great idea, and having now made mine very fun too.

And just in case your too busy swooning at the fit bloke.. the buttons are on the shirt lol
