A Cheeky Card...+ candy winners.

So i was having a bit of a play, with yet another tag.. I came across some of the inky papers i had made not too long ago, and decided i would turn one into a postcard, but as i was working i happened to lay the pieces down on top of one another and thats when the tag became a card, it just looked right so i ran with it.

With a bit of stamping {Nude with Shorts, Open Zip and Ephemera #1 all from the Artistic Stamper} some random doo-dads in the form of a broken zip end and dismantled necklace flower finished with a bit of lace frill the card was complete.

 Thats another one to add to the WOYWW easel

{Thank you Julia and Mr Dunnit...Mine arrived safe and has pride of place on my windowsill xx}

The I.M Challenge

I was chatting via instant message to my friend Alison over the weekend and she said she was lackin in inspiration so we decided to challenge each other to make a card..
There were 3 challenges that she picked to incorperate which were
Gingersnap Chestnut theme Challenge – 'Heat'
Lots to do – 'People and/or places'
Paperbag Studios – 'Flowers'
And here is what i created...

As you can see it's not my usual style but i kinda like it, just wishing i had used a coloured card as i'm not loving the white, but i guess i can always give it a bit of an inking.

The Chaos Begins! and secret candy

Hello World.. How are we all this fine morning...

Firstly i would like to say Hello and Welcome to my flourish of new followers {and Hay to the older one's too}

I am always touched when someone decided to follow my blog, And if i can inspire just one of you to make or try something new then it's totally worth my time..
Unfortunately over the next week or so the service from my blog may be somewhat patchy
{what do you mean thats what it's like normally}
 anyways I'm just about to tackle the horror of having to pack up my stash so i can get started on the transformation of my craft space. This was s'posed to start a few days ago but we ended up re-arranging the front room first lol
Sooooo I'm gonna have a bit of a candy giveaway to make up for it.

Post it in style...Plus gingersnap birthday candy winner

Just a quick little project i wanted to share with you today

Thats an easy peasy project to make

Just by folding a piece of card round a note pad stack, {stick the back of the note stack to the card..see below} decorating it.

{I've used a fab selection of stamps, all from the Artistic Stamper}

And finishing buy adding a bit of chain to hang and a magnet to close.
And there you have an attractive post it holder for all your important notes...Simples!

Late Object D'Art OR Todays LTD challenge..oh and a spot of Candy

OK so i'm a few hours late for the box challenge over on the Object D'Art Blog as this weeks new performance has been announced which is MIRROR's....

But i am however on time for today's newly announced challenge over on Lots to Do which is LITTLE BOXES

I Started off with a simple little gift box

Changed the way the lid opened, gave it few coats of gesso, added some colour, a nice clasp and some lace

and lined the inside base with orange felt, and hay presto, one altered box.

........................................

I am offering this wee box {which will be stuffed full of secret treats by the way}

as my first BLOG Candy

Thought it was about time as a thank you to all my visitors

PIF, standing for Pay (or more reciently Pass) It Forward is based on the concept of the movie “Pay it Forward” where acts or deeds of kindness are done without expecting something in return, just passing it on, with hope that the recipients of the acts of kindness will do the same.
