Got my beady eye on you!

Just lately i have had alot of time for my beads and charms, so much so i started to get achy hands from gripping the pliers lol
So when i saw this weeks 'Buttons or Beads' challenge over at Lots To Do I figured it be the perfect time to share a piece or 2!
This was a commissioned bracelet for a girls 13th birthday. I was so thrilled when i heard that she loved it and was showing it off to all her friends, can't get a better feelin than that.
And this is just a snippet of several others that were created.. Beads a plenty me thinks!
Huummmm maybe i'll add some buttons to the next one!

Flower Power Bling.

Here is the final piece of christmas bling i made up, and this has to be one of my favourite pieces to date.
A mix of glass and lampwork beads threaded and knotted onto cord and then entwined with ribbon.
Although there isn't alot of blogging going on from me at the minute i have been busy creating this and that, Mainly playing and making junk jewellery, plus a couple of the pieces that are top secret for now so you'll have to keep an eye out in february to find out more on that!!!

Bling and Sparkle!

Finally managed to grab 5 minutes to take some snaps of those jewellery pieces i mentioned.. This set being one of them which was a present for my partners sister.
I used a mix of lampwork glass beads and swarovski crystals to give the earings some added bling.

Sorry it's a short post, still not properly back into the swing of things yet, the old mojo is a bit hit and miss, I've managed a couple of cute cards but not had the time to get inky yet, plus I'm trying to get myself organised as i'm hosting my very first swap on UK Stampers ..
Wanna know more... if your a member hop over and check out the General Swap section!!
All i can say is the experience will be 'Charming' lol
Thanks for stopping by x

Paper Bead Necklace

Not so long ago i took part in a paper bead swap, i had great fun making the beads but the ones i received in return had been sat for a while wondering what they might become... well i finally had a light bulb moment and decided to create a simple necklace with some of them.

I threaded a black seed bead followed by a silver spacer, then a black round bead and then the paper bead onto a flat head pin and followed that with the same combination in reverse to keep each pin symmetrical, i then looped the end and added a small jump ring to hang.
I did this with 5 beads.
Threaded all onto a black faux swede thread of which i had added a twist clasp to close.
And Ta Da.. one simple necklace!

Perfect Day {LTD#18}

Just a quickie post.... i feel like i'm neglecting my altered side but at the moment i'm on a cute trip and think it may last a while!!
I want to say sorry to my regular viewers if nothing new appears as often as it has been, i'll try and pop on here inbetween all the cuteness!!
In the meantime, it was my friend Ann's birthday yesterday and this is the card i made for her x

I used one of my paperbag studio stamps inked with spiced marmalade, mustard seed, fired brick and vintage photo distress inks. I framed each image with wire that had been wrap/twisted with fibres and seed beads.
The wording was just stamped and edged with seed bead coated wire.
I must be physic as the theme over at Lots To Do this week is Let's Face It !
I know i was early but it stll counts..Right ! LOL
Thanks for stopping by, and Happy Birthday Ann, hope your day was wonderful x

I'm taking part in a swap held by Sid over on UKStamper to alter a piece of stampboard and make it into a brooch.
Here is my efforts...

I actually had alot of fun trying to make the piece as un-like just a piece of stampboard as possible, which was quite hard but i think it turned out ok
I hope whoever ends up with it is happy :O)

Melt Art {SaWo #41}

..
For once i had quite a productive day on Saturday, i was up reasonably early and seeing as over on Saturday Workout this week their theme is UTEE, i took the opportunity to have a play with my melt pot.
I recently joined a paper bead swap so that was the first thing i made...

...
Followed by some Wire Hearts
...

...

Once i was all UTEE'd out i needed to take some photo's.

A friend posted a message on one of the forums i visit of how to make your own light box to get great pics.. i thought I'd try it out and here it is all finished..

...

...

I'm really pleased at how well the box actually works, the photos of the beads and the hearts were both taken using the box.

...

I also managed to finish another couple of pieces, but there for blogging another day.

Watch This Space !
