WOYWW 110

As you can see from my pic my desk hasn't altered much since last week, still a mess just with stuff pushed from here to there.. The only thing you may notice is that 'Vinny' my vagabond is missing, unfortunately he died a slow death {and is off to join Hel's 'Victor' in vagabond heaven!!} well actually he is being sent back from whence he came to be replaced!
My sincere apologies for not making it round to you all last week, My good intentions were overtaken by my last minute craft fair prep and I didn't have a minute spare.
This was my very first craft fair and although it was a fairly quiet day I made enough to cover my cost and a little extra.. This is my set up
I made a selection of idea-ology jewellery, some felt and button rings, along with cards, boxes and my recyc'owls.
Sorry the pics are rubbish, I had to use my phone as my mini camera also died a death!
I have another fair in September so shall frantically be making christmas cards from here on in I think lol
{famous last words lol}
Right today I have nothing to do so hopefully I shall be by to have a nosey at your WOYWW space soon,
 until then..

ooh that stall looks lovely, I found takings increased as people got used to me being there regularly and specifically came with cash for the things they wanted, it's a great way to get commissions too..

As someone who does quite a few craft fairs, can I say that I really like the layout of your stalls. You can see everything and best of all, it's not too crowded. It's funny, but you never can tell what sort of day it will be! I've been to some where I thought Uh-Oh, and then had a mad crazy profitable day. And then others (at posh places) where I just covered my costs. I'm happy if I make enough to buy more fabric - feed my habit, LOL xx

Looks just great - hubby is pushing me to do one...scarey stuff as I think will people buy this??? Your stall looks just fab - and sounds like you were a hit which is great going in this present market. Great job. Onto the Chrimbo stuff then...

Well, now we really need the lowdown on Vincent and Victor so we can all watch out for ours. You've got me worried.
Glad your first craft show was encouraging and hope you go from strength to strength with them. Your products look great!

love the lay out of your stall, never done one...well sort of did once, with other than craty stuff, too darn scared to do it again, some one took two things but only paid for one, and said, oh no, that's all I'm paying, and walked off with them!! I have this big L on my forehead! In doesn't stay for Lyn!
Have a great Crafting week ! HaPpY WoYwW

Love the owls and boxes ....good luck at the next too. I am falling for one of those pink monsters but am put off because I had something similar about 5 years ago ...it was great until it ran out. three of us all followed the instructions to reload it ...even asked the shop who looked at us as though we were mentally refective ...never ever managed it and it went to gaget heaven .....how easy are these ...are they REALLY worth the money???? should I try again??

Yikes! I didn't realise there was such a problem with the Vagabonds! For the money they want for them you would expect them to last many many years. Well done on the craft fair! Looks like you are having lots of fun on your desk.

Those owls are fab! I have a craft fair in December so need to get my skates on! Sorry about Vinny - I shall stick to my big shot for the time being!

Aren't those owls adorable? Not surprised the stall did well. I'd have one :)

That's the third vagabond I've heard of dying and that's just on blogs I visit! Must have had a dodgy bunch. Love the stall LO, especially the drapes at the back, looks all nice and cosy. I hope they're hat pins and not stick pins in the mannequin, otherwise someone's in trouble, lol!

Great to hear the craft fair went well. I am contemplating my first one in November and already thinking 'can I really ask people to pay'. Tis good to hear people's positive experiences.

These Vagabonds are being over used! Hope your replacement arrives quickly and there's no more stress! Like the look of your stand - you did work hard.

So another Vagabond bites the dust - and your camera too, what a week for you. At least your stall did well and looks so nice in the photographs too. Hope you receive your replacement Vagabond soon and that this coming week is a good one for you. Elizabeth x #99
