What's on my desk and why!

Firstly the why.. Yesterday was the first day since my op that I managed to feel able to sit and craft, and I was dying to try another of the fab tutorials on the Hero Arts site, I happened to have a poppy background stamp I wanted to use and low and behold The Stampman Challenge had 'poppies' as there theme so I set to work.
I have to admit that it did take me 3 attempts to get the technique right and by the end my poor knee was mighty uncomfortable but it was worth it.
And here is what's on my messy desk after I had finished it!
Sorry I missed last week, Hope everyone is well, I'll try and get round some desks today but can't promise i'll make it to all as sitting at the comp is still a tad painful after a little while, think I need to invest in a netbook so I can surf while on the sofa!

Loving your poppy card, that is so very effective Minxy. Just take it easy and rest up where and when you can, it will be so worth it in the end. Annette x

Oh girlie - it's so frustrating, but do stay off your knee for as long as you can. Specially if it gives the likes of me a chance to copy your lovely stuff - the poppies are fab!

Poppies are one of my fav flowers and I love your piece. Gonna have to get that stamp!
As for your knee, I wish you well. I am now back in work after having mine done and all the pain is worth it. Keep up with the excercises - no pain no gain!! I know how frustrating it is that you cannot get in your craft room - my room is upstairs so I was banned!
Mini lap top is a god send!!
