WOYWW #48

Did you miss me.. I totally skipped a week... not quite sure what happened there.. maybe i was abducted by little green men or something..Well anyways i'm back now and ready to share whats on my workdesk with Julia and the rest of the crew.
As you can see i've had a little play with the melt pot... I firstly made up a few molds.
Then got the UTEE out and filled a few up, i also made a couple of pieces like the cogs by pouring hot UTEE onto the stamp {which i'd inked with versamark to act as a realise agent}
A bit of a rub with some perfect pearls and voila.. now I just have to find some spare time to make something with them...
The other things i'm sharing today are this fab manaquin that i picked up on sale at a nearby craft fair.. it's making a wonderful pin custion
At the same fair i did a couple of workshops, this french knitted necklace is one of the pieces i created.
I must admit that i got sucked in and brought the 'wonder knitter' that helped create this and i've since made about 30.. i'm hoping to maybe sell a few.. although mine are a bit different in style and alot more fluffy..
.....
Think thats about it for today.. oh i nearly forgot, for those of you that wanted to see the cuff i had hidden a couple of weeks ago it's HERE
I'll try my best to visit everyone but my time seems to vanish b4 i can blink.
Take care, and happy snooping!

The pin cushion is so sweet, a joy to use I would think. I don't have a melt pot but particularly admire your results. Maybe one day...

I'm smiling...I misread Jude's comment above as something to do with your love life...moving on...what innovative neck pieces...I'd buy one if happened to see one (at the 'right' price, of course), & as long as it fitted my neck size - do you make various sizes?

Interesting things you make...I love all this artsy stuff but I have no idea how to do any of it - you must know a bit of chemistry otherwise how do you know how to use these things....your melt pot creations are lovely and I am sure you will soon put them to good use....envy your mannequin! Sooo nice!

I adore your melting pot pieces ... I so want a MP but I really have so many things I need to play with first.
French Knitting takes me back to child hood when all you needed was an empty wooden cotton real...4 tiny nails ... some left over wool from Mum and a large darning needle ,whose 'eye' end was used to lift up the stich ...omg that was probably 55 years ago when I was doing it lol
Love how you have used the results ....very clever idea.

Visiting your blog was worth EVERYTHING today. I had NO IDEA (yep, I'm shouting with joy) you could pour your UTEE over your stamps. That is such an awesomely awesome tip. I've done it the other way, stamping into the liquid UTEE, which gives a totally different look. Thanks for sharing this. Have a great WOYWW.

The melt art is fabulous. How did you get the mannequin? Did you make a mold of something, or buy a mold? If you could let me know I'd be so grateful because I'm totally mannequin fixated right now! Thank you.
