WOYWW 89 & Compendium Challenge!

Sorry my desk has been AWOL from woyww for a couple of weeks, I was in london and then just really busy last week, still trying to make my way round OWOH and failing miserably!
The desk is still a mess, I did sort of tidy but it somehow got messy again!!
I received some fab new rubber from the Artistic Stamper that i need to mount so i can play.
And for those of you with a keen eye you may have noticed the brown blob above my ink pads.. here's a closer look...
While on my only actual day out in london i picked up these fab old letterpress letters, How cool are they!
I'm up again at stupid o'clock so i may just try and head back to bed but i'll be round to see you later!
*****
Right onto the tag... This is my offering for this weeks Compendium Challenge
which is Inking and Stamping Masks, Page 59 i believe
I used dusty concord, shabby shutters and stormy sky and mainly stamps from the 'world traveler' set
I can't believe 32 weeks have passed by with this challenge, I hope Linda manages somehow to bring us many more!

It's great that the letters of your name look almost the same in reverse, so even as they are they still look like your name!
Neat!

Lovely tag, it has been really interesting seeing what everyone creates for the compendium challenge. The letterpress blocks are fab, I have a few as well and was lucky to find a wooden letterpress draw to display them.

Oh, this is incredibly COOL, Nicky! I think you've used the most perfect possible stamp for this technique-- it really does look like the image is floating off the page, and what a great effect for the image. Love those colors, too.

You know, I do have something up my sleeve for us once the CCC is over. Stay tuned... ;-)

Oh! I love your cool name plate, too!

Wow absolutely stunning!

Have you tried just cutting out your stamps and mounting them as and when you need to, attaching them to rocker blocks with repositional glue spray? Then you can store them in a ring file on laminated card in a page protector. I stamp the image on the card before I laminate the sheet.

Your sign is so cool, how lucky to find those letters.
