Tick Tock...

Goes the vinyl !!!
What on earth are you on about i hear you say..
Well what do you do when your old records are all scratched up and no good to play any more..
Turn their scratching and popping into ticking and tocking by transforming them into clocks of course.
I actually started this project  many months ago, for fathers day in fact, but mid way through playing my mojo disappeared, so there it was left to sit on a shelf waiting for some inspiration.
I finally got said mojo back and managed to finish it just in time for my Dad's birthday this month.
I covered the record with a smidge of mica powder paint here and there to add a bit of interest.
I used metal numbers, some metal sheet embossed with a TSS kabuka mould, and some paperartsy images stamped on basic grey paper and cut out to fill in the spaces and jazz it up a bit.
And i can officially report that my Dad loved it..
I'll be back again tomorrow with my final pieces of 2010 x
