WOYWW, Simon Says and my Day 22 Tag!

Good morning fellow WOYWW crew..
So I'm not quite sure what happened since last week but my desk is in a state of disarray!
Truth be told i've not had alot of christmas prep to do as we're off to Tonys parents, and then tony will be working boxing day, plus all the snow has limited movement, so i figured i'd maximize my time but trying to get a head start on next years cards lol
I've also been trying to play along with a challenge or 2..
This is my entry for this weeks Simon Says Stamp'n'Show 'From Yesteryear' challenge
I did start out with the intention to make a tree decoration but once the rosette was made i thought it would look fab as a gift box lid, Trouble was i didn't have any blank round boxes, so what i decorated is actually a small tin food can and the plastic lid from an empty glass jar of barleycup!
I lined the tin with some tissue paper then filled it with more strips to keep whatever gift i put in it safe.
***
And finally here is my #day 22 Tag...
In contrast to Tim's day 10 tag, I've used an old sizzix snowman die i've had forever cut out of cardboard and placed him on top of the acetate packaging. And i added some little snowflake eyelets using my big bite.
He turned out kinda cute..
So can you believe there are only 3 more sleeps till christmas.. It will soon all be over and the new year plans will take over lol.. See ya again tomorrow for more tag fun x
I wish you all a Very Merry Christmas xxx

Gorgeous box - love how you have used that Rosette. Very vintage - and pastelly.

Like your take on Tims tag - hard to do them like he has with all the supplies you need - most of mine are improvised.

Merry Christmas.

Love your gift box, so pretty and so much hard work. Have a wonderful Christmas and I hope the snow is not too much of a problem for your plans. My wonderful husband has just done the main shopping and brought that home, and is now off again to the butchers to collect the meat for Christmas, a day early, but it is snowing here again.

That card is adorable. You did a great job using supplies you had on hand, and that recycled tin was simply ingenious as well as drop dead gorgeous.

I hope your Christmas was merry and filled with warmth, happiness, good health, and peace. Sounds corny, but it's my wish, anyway.
