WOYWW #207

I can hardly believe we are now only 1 week away from the WOYWW 4th anniversary and i've still NOT sorted any ATC's.. it's gonna be today or bust me thinks!!
So today's desk looks like this...
RIGHT B4 I get a million questions.. NO they are not real or plastic butterflies on my desk.. but rather a clever little disguise added via my photo editing software to hide a current WIP DT project.
However to the left of the basket'o'distress paints is my current DT piece, and also a shabby chic spool I made inspired by last weeks PaperArtsy GD France.
To the right of the butterflies are a selection of mini keys and locks that I harvested from a bracelet I got in a charity shop for a measly £1.50...Bargain!
Other bits on my desk include, a selection of inkpads i've been using, a set of marianne creatables dies I won cheap on ebay, a half finished doily covered dressform, and a folder of stamps... amongst other things.
Right I can't not stop here any longer as i've ATC's to make and desks to visit.
See you in cyberspace.
Stay Inky

Hi Minxy,

Aren't you clever! I love those butterflies hiding your current WIP. The spool looks wonderful!

Ugh, I've not started my ATCs and will be leaving on vacation Saturday so I won't be mailing mine out until June.....

Happy WOYWW

Yours is the third key fob I've seen using an old thread spool. Awesome.

I confess your photo editing software AND skills are far better than mine!!

Happy WOYWW from #10.

Love the butterflies, whatever they may be!! The spool looks fabulous Nicky, I know I've seen it before. What fab things you find in your charity shop, ours is poor for things I could harvest, lol!! Helen, 5

The butterflies - genius idea!! Love the spool, it's fab. But why can I never find things like that in my local charity shops?? Not fair!! ;)

Oh WOW! Straight away I noticed the butterflies, how beautiful I thought, must find out where you got those...never mind. They still look gorgeous! Happy WOYWW! Karen 85 x

You do admit then that having added the butterflies, they do actually look like a project in themselves!!
So I guesss the pink buttons and shabby banners are to do with what I can't see then? How frustrating!!

Thank you so much for visiting and also for the inspiration. Your spool is quite amazing and has given me a whole new line of thought for e spools I bought in Paris. (Sorry, that really was a bit show offy, wasn't it?)

Happy WOYWW,
Rachel.

Since you commented, I should add the craft mat got stuck under a large piece of card stock (12 X 12) I was cutting on my guillotine cutter. Sad, but true, that's what happened.

G'Day Minxy
I'm running up the rear with getting around for WOYWW but here I am. Oh those butterflies are divine...you should have just said they were real. The dress form caught my eye straight after the butterflies...what neat idea to dress it with doillies.

Awwww shucks. And they are such NICE butterflies too!

You're not alone in not having done your ATCs yet - I haven't even given them a second thought, but I'm planning on having a creative day on Monday. Somewhere between sanding the cake, prepping for crop, catching up with project life and finishing the bouquets. LOL

Thanks for stopping by!
