Last Minute Entry!

Just in the nick of time I managed to have a wee play this morning with some PaperArtsy grunge paste as inspired by Frances 3rd and final offering of the week over on the PA Blog.
I translated her project into a couple of cards as I have 2 birthdays coming up next week.
I removed the gause I used for the first tag and stuck it to another tag with some more GP, giving me a positive and negetave to work with {sort of}.
I cut each down to fit the card and used the off cuts for the hearts.
I also added a little shrinkie to each as it just needed a little something extra.
I didn't do added texture through the stencil like France, but instead added some stencilling to the card with frescos.
Hope you like.

This so simple yet effective. I love the colour combination and the little shrink plastic embellishment finishes it off perfectly. Wonderful texture. I must try this GP and gauze. x

So wonderful, Minxy! I love how you have used the shrink from the spools and combined it with the journalling project, and then taken the journalling project and turned it into cards - you are so imaginative. What did you use for your gauze? I am worried there may be a spate of sprained ankles amongst the Paper Artsy families and no-one will have any bandages left!
