Alpha Challenge wk1

Over at The Craft Barn there is a new challenge for this year,
It's an Alpha Challenge using an old dictionary. Every 2 weeks they give a new letter, you then have to pick a word and journal/ elaborate on it either in the dictionary itself or using the page in some way making sure the word you picked is highlighted in some way.
The first letter picked was V and here is my page:
V for Voo'Doo
It might seem like quite a dark page, but it's not,
I was looking through the pages for a word and voo'doo jumped out at me, only because a few days ago I was having a bit of a joke with friends, {I am taking part in a year long 'Creativity Venture' and our Sargent Major, er I mean teacher/organiser was giving us a bit of a hard time and we we all joking about getting a voo-doo doll for her}
I used my Derwent Inktense Blocks for the first time,  I wanted a washed kinda look to be able to see the text underneath. The process was a bit messy on the old hands as a coloured the page and then washed over with a water brush, but I had fun doing it and that's what counts.
Looking forward to the next letter.
Till then, Stay Inky
