WOYWW 85

Crazy desk day is here once more with the ever so crazy but lovely Julia waving us off from the starting line.
Here is the current condition of my desk,
Click for a bigger pic where you can read all the labelled things!!
If your a garden birdy watcher {and you didn't already know} be sure to sign up for the Big Garden Birdwatch 2011 on the 29-30th of Jan.
So i'm all set for some friendly plastic and studio clay embellishment making today, i figured i'd made all the molds now it was about time to put them to good use!
And here are the latest molds i made from the very cute hearts that my friend Alison send me
She made them out of something called 'Hearty' clay and boy is this stuff weird, unlike any clay i've ever known, its kinda foamy/spongy when dry, and it's ultra light too. Perfect for card embellishing when you don't want the weight of a polymer clay piece.
You just know i gotta get me some of this stuff lol
***
I've had quite a productive few days art wise, most of which i can't share as its future CT work, always a good idea to get ahead when you can! But i did manage to make one piece of art for my one world one heart giveaway which i might show a sneaky peek of before the event if i get chance.
***
Right off to hop round some desks... Made it to about 70-80 last week, so might start from 75 today and try and hit the higher numbers for a change.

Hearty clay is fab stuff, its like those 'pink prawn' sweets I used to have as a kid. I like to colour it using a permanent black marker and then pick up teh highlights with metallic rub on's - looks fab!

Congrats from 70-80 last week to number 1 this week. Well done. Your desk always looks like a hub of activity and I would love some sneak peajks. Little hearts are very sweet., does the clay air dry or heat dry. I burnt some clay things when I was trying to speed up the drying process!! Ooops.

I think I spy a minxy monkey or two! I have my bird chart to the ready, although I tend to have to ID ours by song. They're loud, but shy and retiring! Intrigued by those hearts - need to investigate that one...

No.1 spot this week I see. Looking round your desk reminded me that I have the little pg monkey too. Just gone and rescued him down off the shelf of bears and is now sitting beside computer. Also remembered that I bought a kit from the NEC show for making resin jewllery moulds. Tidied bag away and completely forgot about them. Next job go find em.
