Well it may be a new year but it seems I have the same old problem!
My mojo, or lack of it!
I'm here at my desk, ready and willing to craft but the mind is a total blank. Just typical.
So instead of you having to stare at my little moan here is a little something i made last year but didn't get around to blogging.
It was a birthday card for my friend using one of the ever popular paperbag studio images.
I used a small section from a crocheted doily and the metal flower is from a dismantled necklace.
Hopefully new inspiration will strike soon, I need to make something or i'll go crazy.. {hay no smart arse comments that i already am thank you!}
..so until then!

It's probably still in party mode, it'll be back soon enough!!!
Happy New year, Nicky. I'm sure your mojo will return soon. Love this card. PBS stamps, crochet trim and vintage colours. What more could you ask for. :o)
Beautiful card Nicky, love the composition! I'm sure the ole mojo will be back with a vengance real soon! xx
Terrific card Minxy. Have you tried the Mojo dance, this usually works for me. Annette x
Great natural colour combination - fingers crossed your mojo comes back soon.

poor you...I hate it when you just end up staring at your crafty stash and nothing happens....hope your poor mojo returns soon...Love the piece you have shared with us today! All the layers are just fabulous! Hugs Juls
What works for me when my brain goes blank like that is to just color on paper - spread some ink, paint, markers, watercolors, pastels - any kind of pigment - on the page in whatever way comes to me. Just play with it - dots, resists, however you feel like splattering the color around. Almost always I go somewhere with it then, especially if I think "I'm just playing around, nothing important."
Even if I don't get where I think I _should_ be going, I always get somewhere - and the piece can be chopped up for backgrounds or something if I hate it.

I so understand what that's like! It's tough after the holidays! Great card and no worries your mojo will find it's way back to you!
Happy New Year!

Once the season has cleared your head all sorts of creativity will spill out thats my theory anyways LOL Its not insanity you need to fear its sanity thats the blocker! XOXO Zoe
Bummer about the mojo! Your card is wonderful!
I struggled as well and ended up with that black monstrosity, LOL. I like it less and less the more I look at it, especially the Priorities LOL, but am now doing something a bit more colourful, back to normal tomorrow.
