Over @ Simon Says Stamp'n'Show this week there theme is 'Stars'
I knew i had a Timmy stamp somewhere with stars on,
and the piece just evolved from there.
I altered a round thin wood box.
The base had some paint and ink before i stamped the stars and scene in stazon.
When you lift the lid you can see hidden stars i added just for fun.
The top was covered with retro grunge star paper and then embellished with a mix of scrabble tiles, dice, champagne glasses and mini red disco balls.
I also printed off a sheet of playing cards from Tim's distressables paper cd,
mounted them on card and inked the edges.
All in all i am quite please how it turned out as it looks nothing like the picture i had in mind to start off with!! Maybe i did have a small bang on the head!! lol

Great piece, love the hidden stars under the lid! Those little red beads made me think of pomegranate seeds!

Fantastic box Nicky, the unmounted stamped stamps make it much easier to go round corners don't they. Imagine trying to do that with a piece of wood attached - lol!!!!!!
