Faux Mini Book and Pavapol Phaze 2

I've been playing again with my Mabel Lucie Attwell stamps.. but insteed of making just another card i wanted to try something different... I had just been playing about and made a matchbox book after seeing Hazels fab piece.. and while it was sat drying on my desk a little lightbulb appeared above my head.. and i knew the perfect ickle trouble maker to finish the piece.. and so i picked 'Scamp'... i stamped and coloured him with copics, cut him out and made a small cut in the book base to slot him in so he looks like he's leaping from the pages. Then it was a case of just adding his name using several different alphabet pieces and rubbing everything with vintage photo distress inks!
I think this piece is proper cute.. even if i do say so myself lol
...
I managed to complete phaze one of my pavapol project.. I constructed a wire frame and then wrapped tin foil around to give the piece shape...

As a few of you guessed, It is indeed a Tree, and it is going to be a jewellery hanger too.
Phaze 2 has started with me covering the frame with pavapoled fabric but at the minute i've run out of what i was using so need to have a scrounge about to see if i can find something simular to finish this phaze!!! wish me luck.. I think this piece may take a little while!

Hi Minxy No 1, I love this. It is such an imaginative use of the stamps. As you know I have been making samples with the Mabel stamps but I would never have come up with something as clever as this!

Scamp looks fantastic leaping out of your tiny book, love it! Now I just have to google pavapole and I might have a clue what you're on about for the second project - the armature looks fab though!

Love your scamp book. Have googled pavapol and it looks just the thing!! I've had an idea to make some sort of garden ornament for years but am not a metal worker, wood turner, ceramic artist or any other sort of durable art maker!! This could be just the ticket.

Hi Minxy! First off, what fun 3D projects you have here. I love that Scamp is leaping out of the book - wonderful and fun with the different letter fonts! The tree looks great in phaze 1, I adore altered items so this looks like it has an incredible start already. :D
As a DT member for Whimsie Doodles, I wanted to pop by and thank you for joining us on our first hop last Thursday! I know you stumbled upon it, but we are glad you made it over. :D Have a wonderful evening!
