For those of you who have not heard of her, she was a well known illustrator of books and postcards and became a household name during the 1930’s and 40’s with her illustrations of pudgy and appealing toddlers. I personally can remember having the books as a child, so to get a chance to be one of the first to play with these stamps was a real joy. Although keeping the secret about them till now was a challenge lol. The stamps are available to buy HERE or if your going along to Ally Pally this weekend you can get them from Jennie @ The Stamp Connection stand
"Jolly Day Out"
Is just one of the fab designs available now.. I stamped the image onto 2 pieces of glossy card, one plain and one that i had inked with TH alcohol inks. I cut the inky car out and placed it on top of the plain image to give a striking contrast.. I also made the card quite distressed looking so i could join in with this weeks Cupcake Craft Challenge the theme being "Distressing"
