Been busy creating...Honest!

I have, i tell ya lol..... I have been fairly productive these past couple of weeks but the lack of posts may suggest otherwise, well there is good reason for this... i just cant show it... well not YET anyway, i have made a few bits but all are either secret projects or gifts for people yet to receive... it's a nightmare to be honest as i really wanna share my work with the world! Guess i really need to find a minute to myself to make something just for me. I do actually have one piece to show, but lack of time (or more like disorganisation on my part) means i haven't taken the photo's yet... useless i know.
I do apologise to my loyal followers and newbie visitor's alike.. there will be some fab art for your viewing pleasure very soon i promise lol

Christmas is coming!!!

Challenge 17 ~ Christmas is coming

Over on A Spoon full of sugar this week the topic as you can see is christmas, and seeing as i need all the help i can so i'm not making last minute cards again this year i had a go.

The card actually took ages to make as i just couldn't get the inspiration to assemble it, but eventually it all fell into place and turned out ok.

Basic Grey Challenge #1

Can't believe a week has almost past and i haven't even blogged my card yet DOH!

Here is my effort for the very first Basic Grey challenge which is buttons... I am in love with my newly brought {and used on this card} Figgy Pudding pad, i feel i may need to buy a couple more pads as it's gonna get alot of use this year i think. The image is coloured with Lyra Crayons. I added some thin ribbon through the buttons to give them a bit more oompf layered onto a scrap of Scarlet's Letter paper and used some sequin waste also for added interest.

Friday Sketchers Challenge #18

Well I've finally managed to make a start on some Xmas cards.

I coloured a few cute images the other day but that was as far as i had got.

I am absolutely useless and get really kinda stuck when assembling cute cards, so after telling my friend Claire my problem she kindly found me a great sketch on the Friday Sketchers Blog....

And here is my completed card.

I am super happy with it, So thank you friday sketchers, I may just have to partake every week just to get my Xmas cards made lol

Me 2 You

Every month i take part in a swap called Me 2 You, and every month i make a piece (or 2) for 1 person in the swap.

This month (actually august) i altered a childs board book and also altered an old tin to house the book for the lovely Andrea.
